My Nigerian peppered Beef

I love peppered meat! Preparing this delicacy is way easier than it appears. there is no one way of preparing it, sometimes I put together different peppers to get a combination of flavours, and sometimes I just use one type of pepper. Either way, it turns out nice.

7 Reasons to eat Avocado

Avocado pear was one fruit I didn't really like as a child, I used to wonder how people around me enjoyed it so much. For me, my relationship with it was that of tolerance, I ate it when I was forced to. But I have come to enjoy this power house of nutrients so much as an adult. Funny how our taste can change with age right? I don't pass up any opportunity to have this fruit. I eat it on its own, use it as spread on bread, eat it with rice, add it to smoothies and use it on my hair and skin.

Nigerian jollof rice recipe

Welcome to the month of February! What better way to start the new month than with a jollof rice recipe. For the uninitiated, jollof rice is a one pot rice dish made with fresh tomatoes, pureed tin tomatoes and some other ingredients we will see in the recipe. It is a very popular dish, it's so much a part of us that any party where jollof rice is not served is considered incomplete. Jollof rice even has a day dedicated to it, it's August 22nd.

Happy new year! I can't believe we are already sixteen days into the new year! I was telling a friend today that time flies when you are an adult. Lol. But seriously, have you noticed that as adults we just seem to blink and yet another Christmas is upon us? But as kids it used to take forever. I guess what I'm trying to say is that there is no time to waste.
