World Cancer day

February 4th the world over is marked as World Cancer Day. The WHO says the world is facing a growing cancer crisis.
This increase in cancer has a lot to do with our diet and lifestyle. In fact, The National Cancer institute estimates that about one-third of all cancer deaths may be diet related. Nature has provided us with foods that can prevent cancer. Some have even been found to inhibit the growth of cancer cells.
A few of these foods are onions, garlic, avocados, carrots, cabbage, broccoli, citrus fruits, grapes, pawpaw, mushrooms, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, tapioca, spinach, kale, beans, and the list goes on and on. Eating a variety of these foods can improve our health dramatically. Let's eat our way to good health!

Hippocrates really knew what he was saying when he said "Let food be thy medicine and medicine thy food".
